TECHNOLOGY
HDD – Horizontal Directional Drilling
HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling) is a guided trenchless technology that allows precise boreholes over long distances, including curved paths. It performs well in cohesive and mixed soils, especially where maintaining traffic flow and minimizing environmental impact are crucial. HDD is commonly used for installing gas pipelines, water lines, and power cables beneath roads, railways, rivers, and in densely built urban areas.
DTH – Down The Hole
DTH (Down-The-Hole) technology uses a down-the-hole hammer, making it highly effective in hard soils and solid rock. It ensures high accuracy and borehole stability where other methods lose efficiency. Horizontal DTH drilling is applied for crossings under infrastructure, in mountainous or industrial areas, and wherever geological conditions require high drilling energy and precise control of the bore path.
Direct Pipe
Direct Pipe combines the advantages of microtunneling and HDD, allowing simultaneous drilling and jacking of a steel pipe. This technology provides maximum route control, high load capacity, and safe execution. It is used for large-diameter pipelines, long distances, and challenging ground conditions. Ideal for strategic installations such as high-pressure gas pipelines, crossings under rivers, and environmentally protected areas.
